Moorefield Underage vs St Anne’s Blitz
On Saturday, the 10th of September, seven of the Moorefield Underage teams went to St Anne’s in Bohernabreena, Tallaght to play a blitz against the St. Anne’s underage teams.
Boys from the Under 12, Under 11, Under 10 and Under 8 teams, girls from the Under 10 and Under 12 girls teams and the Under 6 children all played games against their St Anne’s counterparts.
The Girls Under 12 team and the Under 11, Under 10 and Under 8 teams played 11 a side Go Games matches, with Moorefield fielding 2 teams in each age group. Both U12 boys teams played 15 a side matches and the Under 6 players played 7 a side games.
Everyone had a great day and it is expected we will make this a bi-annual event with St Anne’s returning to play in Moorefield early next year.
